A group of incredible staff from across Imperial Health Trust found time in their busy lives to train for the Royal Parks Half marathon in support of Poppy's Fund. Hats off to them!
They were joined by Poppy's mum Carly and her best friend and collectively the team raised over £7000!
Carly’s Dad Pete took on a huge personal challenge and ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2018. The race was almost a year from Poppy’s birth and he raised a fantastic amount of money to be split between Poppy’s Fund and Tommy’s the baby charity (an amazing charity that works to reduce stillbirth and neonatal death).
Stevie G also ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Poppy's Fund.
It was Steve's first half marathon and we are so excited that he chose to support this cause.
To anyone who sponsored him, a HUGE THANK YOU!
Sisters Laura and Vicky ran the Royal Parks half marathon in an amazing show of support for Poppy's Fund.
The money they raised will go so far in helping support maternity services at Queen Charlotte's.
Roo's Mum Gytha took part in her very first Skydive in aid of Poppy's Fund.
With absolutely zero experience in extreme sports, we, and the hospital are so grateful for this incredible act of bravery and we know that the huge amount of money she raised has made such a difference.
Annabel took part in the Cinque Ports 100, a 100 mile walk starting outside Hastings and finishing in Dover www.ldwa.org.uk/2018Hundred
We're so grateful to Annabel who completed the event by walking without sleep for nearly 48 hours!
Jennie kicked off our fundraising by running a very impressive time in the hottest London Marathon on record! (2018)
We will always be grateful to Jennie for getting us started and helping us realise that Poppy's Fund will thrive if lots of people get behind it in many different ways, large and small.
Poppy's Fund wishes to thank the Gumball 3000 Foundation for their incredibly generous donation, which will make a huge difference to the care QCCH is able to provide.
Established in 2013, the foundation works alongside established charities to assist in their efforts, using the strength of the brand to drive a legacy which is positive and long-lasting.
